Aiming to streamline the sourcing of used and electric vehicles—saving time, reducing complexity, and opening up new opportunities across Europe

The FTZ concept 100% Autotjek has entered into a collaboration with the brokerage company Carzelle, which will make it more manageable for dealers to find the right used car.

In recent years, the used market has become an important part of many dealers’ businesses, and a lot of time is spent on strategizing and finding the right cars. The FTZ concept 100% Autotjek will make this process more affordable and less time-consuming in collaboration with the brokerage company Carzelle, which specializes in the import and export of used cars between dealers in Europe.

Carzelle can deliver a large part of the analysis work in the selection of used cars, which until now has been the dealer’s burden, says Kevin Mark Bech Sørensen, team and sales manager at 100% Autotjek. He also believes that identifying the right used electric cars in particular will be easier, as it has so far required a lot of knowledge to familiarize yourself with the electric cars. It is not always the same need for customers across fuels.

– There is a lot of work involved in finding the right used cars, and electric cars in particular can be difficult to figure out. We have many members who want to adapt in that direction, and it will be much easier now that they do not have to know everything about electric cars themselves to have a chance, he explains and continues:

– Some dealers find that customers know more than they do about electric cars. With Carzelle’s help, our members can now much better assess what is really important for customers who want to buy an electric car.

European Opportunities

The collaboration has not come out of thin air. 100% Autotjek has long received inquiries from dealers who demand a more manageable platform for sourcing cars. Kevin Mark Bech Sørensen says that they have been looking for a solution for a couple of years, and that it has now been found in collaboration with Carzelle. According to 100% Autocheck, the collaboration will not mean an increase in membership fees for the dealers.

As Carzelle’s services have only recently become available to 100% Autotjek dealers, Kevin Mark Bech Sørensen has not received feedback on the collaboration yet. However, he says that at the internal presentation, there was enthusiasm to be found among the dealers, especially because of the European opportunities:

– The dealers were curious and had many questions for Carzelle about what to expect. Many have certainly seen an opportunity to import used electric cars from Germany and elsewhere in Europe, and it has suddenly become much easier for them, Kevin Mark Bech Sørensen assesses and concludes:

– We expect that this can help the dealers make the transition towards electricity that many know is necessary.

100% Autotjek is a concept from FTZ and has around 140 affiliated car dealers in its network, while Carzelle is in its first year in the air and primarily does business on facilitating B2B car trading.
